IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OHIO REVISED CODE CHAPTER 153, SEALED PROPOSALS SHALL BE RECEIVED FOR
FURNISHING ALL LABOR, MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY WITH REGARD TO THE FOLLOWING PROJECT:

THE PROJECT PROPOSALS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS PREPARED BY
THE PROJECT CONSULTANT AUSTRIAN & ASSOCIATES, INCORPORATED, 2530 Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44114 UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THE
BIDDING DOCUMENTS ARE ON FILE AND AVAILABLE AT THE OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT & DIVERSITY, ROOM
100, COUNTY ADMINISTRATION ANNEX BUILDING, 112 HAMILTON COURT, CLEVELAND, OHIO 44114.
BIDS MUST BE PLACED IN THE BID DEPOSITORY AND SHALL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL TWO O'CLOCK IN THE
AFTERNOON (2:00 P.M.) LOCAL TIME ON NOVEMBER 10, 2009 IN THE OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT & DIVERSITY,
ROOM 100, COUNTY ADMINISTRATION ANNEX BUILDING., 112 HAMILTON COURT, CLEVELAND, OHIO 44114, AT
WHICH TIME AND PLACE THE BIDS SHALL BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER, AND READ PUBLICLY. THE CLOCK LOCATED IN THE OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT & DIVERSITY SHALL DETERMINE THE OFFICIAL TIME.
THERE SHALL BE A PRE-BID CONFERENCE AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONs, DATE AND TIME:

PLACE: Rocky River AAC, 20120 Detroit Road, Rocky River, Ohio DATE: OCTOBER 30, 2009 TIME: 11:00 A.M.
PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS MUST COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE CONTRACT COMPLIANCE PROCEDURES FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM AS STIPULATED BY THE BOARD OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; ADOPTED 20 DECEMBER, 2005.
A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE OF $35.00 SHALL BE REQUIRED IN ADVANCE FOR EACH SET OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS. THE NON-REFUNDABLE FEE SHALL BE A CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ON SOME SOLVENT ACCOUNT PAYABLE TO "TREASURER OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO." PERSONAL CHECKS OR CASH SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
EACH BID SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BID BOND FOR THE FULL AMOUNT (100%) OF THE BID, OR A CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIER'S CHECK, OR IRREVOCABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IN THE AMOUNT OF TEN PERCENT (10%) OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF BID. IF A BID BOND IS SUBMITTED AS THE BID GUARANTY, IT MUST BE THAT OF AN APPROVED SURETY COMPANY AUTHORIZED TO TRANSACT BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF OHIO. IF A CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIER'S CHECK, OR IRREVOCABLE LETTER OF CREDIT IS SUBMITTED AS THE BID GUARANTY, IT MUST BE DRAWN ON A SOLVENT BANK AND MADE PAYABLE WITHOUT CONDITION TO THE TREASURER OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY. THE BID OR CERTIFIED CHECK SHALL BE HELD AS A GUARANTEE THAT IF THE PROPOSAL IS ACCEPTED, THE BIDDER WILL ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE SAME. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER, UPON THE CONTRACT AWARD, SHALL PROVIDE A CONSTRUCTION BOND IN THE SUM EQUAL TO ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) OF THE CONTRACT AMOUNT PER O.R.C. SECTION 153.54.
PAYMENTS IN FULL SHALL BE MADE BY WARRANTS ISSUED BY THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY AUDITOR.
THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS
